This Privacy Policy explains how Fuji Frame, operated by Chase Cap Holdings, LLC
("the app", "we", "us"), handles your information. Fuji Frame helps Fujifilm photographers generate,
store, and sync film‑simulation recipes,
and read or write recipes to a connected Fujifilm camera over USB. We collect as little as possible and
we do not sell your data.
Information we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and, if you
choose to share it, your name and email. We use this only to create and secure your account.
- Your recipes and content. Recipes you create, generate, or save are stored on your
device and, when you are signed in, in our backend so they sync across your devices.
- Photos you submit for "Match". If you use the Match feature, the photo you choose is
sent to our service and to our AI provider solely to analyze the look and return a recipe. Photos are
processed transiently for that request and are not used to build a profile of you or sold to anyone.
- Prompts and descriptions. Text you enter to generate a recipe is sent to our AI
provider to produce a result.
- Purchases. Subscription status is managed through Apple and our subscription provider
(RevenueCat). We never receive your full payment-card details — Apple handles payment.
- Camera data (USB). When you connect a camera, recipe data is read from and written to
the camera's custom slots directly between your device and the camera. This camera communication is not
transmitted to our servers.
- Basic technical data. Standard, limited diagnostic information needed to operate and
secure the service (such as request and error logs).
How we use your information
- To provide core features: generating, matching, storing, syncing, and writing recipes.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process subscriptions and unlock paid features.
- To maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
Third-party services
We rely on the following providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and subscription payments.
- Supabase — authentication and storage of your account and recipes.
- Anthropic — AI processing of your prompts and Match photos to generate recipes.
Per Anthropic's API terms, inputs sent through the API are not used to train their models by default.
- RevenueCat — subscription management.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share data with the
providers above only as needed to operate the app, and when required by law.
Data retention
We keep your account and recipes for as long as your account is active. Photos and prompts submitted for
generation are processed for that request and are not retained as a personal archive. You can delete your
recipes in the app, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data (see Contact).
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission
or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or
to request a copy of it. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below and we will respond within
a reasonable time.
Children
Fuji Frame is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information
from them.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our
providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last
updated" date above.
